Domus launches a new function that will allow all creative people to share a project in a simple and fast way. Once the materials have been received, the editorial staff will evaluate them for a possible publication on the Domus website. For any other communication that is not a project, our editorial email (redazione@domusweb.it) remains active.
Send us your project!
Now you can share your work through a new function by Domus where you can upload your architecture, design, interior, graphics, illustration, photography and art projects.

How does it work
After registering on Domus website and logging in, from this link you can access the page for uploading a project, where you can fill out a form with some essential information about the work itself. Sharing can be done through a link provided by you that refers to the material previously uploaded on a platform such as Dropbox, Google Drive, WeTransfer and the like. For all the details follow the instructions that you will find on the upload page. If you are one of our avid readers you know that we give serious importance to the project credits and the photographic ones, so it will be essential to specify them correctly.
Vademecum (or what not to do)
Here are the most common mistakes found over the years.
1. Projects must be recent (completed within the past year) and possibly unpublished. Any embargoes must be communicated promptly.
2. The material you send must be free from agreements and constraints, and usable on the web. It will be our care to indicate the credits you provide.
3. Don’t send us a WeTransfer link with a short deadline: if you don’t have a plus subscription, other free uploading platforms like Dropbox or Google Drive – or others you prefer – will be just as fine.
4. The photographic material must be of high quality: images are essential for us, and we expect professional photographic services, ready-to-use photographs that do not require editing, without watermarks and at least of 2000 px base.
5. Few subfolders help us, too many limit us. The main ones indicated on the upload form are just enough: Photos, Texts, Drawings, Videos.
6. Images must be sent in .jpg, .png, .gif and .pdf formats. So please don’t send us technical formats such as .dwg, .php, .id, .ai, .svg, .eps and similar.
7. Technical drawings should be clear and legible: watch out for line thicknesses! In this case both .jpg and .pdf formats will be fine.
8. Don’t forget to include correct and complete project credits: project name, designer’s name, project team members, clients, contractors, location, year of completion, area, photographer’s name, and anything else you deem correct. If there are two or more photographers, it is very helpful to divide the photos into folders renamed with each one’s name.
9. Don’t expect the project to be published automatically: the editorial staff will examine it carefully and evaluate it for possible publication on the site. Domusweb does not publish texts provided by you directly, but each article is written by an expert contributor.
10. When we talk about “projects” we mean architectural, interior and design projects, graphic projects, illustrations, photographic portfolios, films and videos, art projects.
