Alessandra De Antoni Fantoni, wife of Marco Fantoni and former vice-president of the company of the same name specialising in the production of MDF and chipboard panels, laminates and melamine paper, office systems and soundproofing systems, died in Udine on 7 February at the age of 87.
Born in 1933 in Bagni di Lusnizza, province of Udine, Alessandra De Antoni Fantoni began to take an active and continuous part in the life of the company from the 70s onwards, dealing, among other things, with the recovery and restoration of all the documentation of the company's activities, which had already been started by her father-in-law Giovanni Fantoni. The result is the Fantoni Archive, which bears witness to and preserves the knowledge of the Osoppo industrial group and which today, to pay tribute to her dedication, will be renamed in her honour and will take the name of Alessandra De Antoni Fantoni Archive.
