The digital event, entitled Art in Architecture, will be moderated by the curator and artistic director of the Serpentine Galleries, Hans Ulrich Obrist. The guest panel is composed by the Serpentine Pavilion’s latest three design studios – Sumayya Vally (Counterspace), Frida Escobedo, Junya Ishigami – as well as Torkwase Dyson and Stefano Boeri.
“Art and architecture have a transformative potential.” Affirm Obrist and Bettina Korek (CEO, Serpentine Galleries) “we could not phrase it better than Gerhard Richter, when he said that art is the highest form of hope. The same thing is true also for architecture – it’s something which can have extraordinary impact on all our lives.”
