Deliberately minimalist and contemporary, the "Pigments" installation, in the Eligo showroom, portrays the aesthetics of the studio, one that loves to mix pieces of classic design in contemporary contexts, often connected to art.

The installation, created in partnership with the historic French lighting company Sammodé, transforms the spaces in the Brera showroom and inserts in a coloured setting the two new pieces from the Collezione Milano designed under the artistic direction of Domenico Rocca: the Solferino chair and the forthcoming project, the Morigi armchair.
The starting point for the entire collection was the Chiavarina, the traditional handcrafted wooden chair of Liguria that for years has been Eligo's forte, part of their mission to revive and re-evaluate forgotten Italian expertise. Sixty years on from the birth of the Superleggera chair by Gio Ponti, Eligo take up the baton and present the Solferino chair: a version of the chair from Chiavari that redefines its aesthetics while respecting tradition.
In the same collection, the Morigi armchair will also be presented, with sprung upholstery, goose-feather cushions, frame in Caneletto walnut and linen cover by Loro Piana.
