Danish brand Gubi upgrades the Beetle collection with chairs designed by award-winning duo GamFratesi. The Beetle Chair and Bar Chair with polypropylene plastic shell comes in seven colours with possibility for seat and front upholstery.

The soft matte texture offers a very comfortable seat, that can be combined with seat or front upholstery to add a personal touch. Due to its unique design, the seat or front upholstery can be changed with time to give the chair a different expression and new life to the interior decoration. The inspiration of the Beetle Collection was found in the insect world as GamFratesi has been looking closely at the anatomy, aesthetics and movement of a beetle. The design of the collection reinterprets the characteristic elements of the beetles’ sections: shape, shells, sutures, rigid outside and soft inside.
The series is also available with a wooden base in oak, smoked oak and black stained beech or with casted swivel base as a contribution to the traditional meeting chair. The unupholstered shell is available in dark pink, new beige, sweet pink, green, blue grey, white and black.
