For PRS Offices in Tel Aviv, Paritzki & Liani Architects designed a sky-ceiling membrane, modeled with the “geo-cell” net, acting as a technical support for the structure.
The idea for this second project destined for PRS’s company offices was born from two factors. The first was the context; the continuous merging of the surfaces of sky and sea, seen uninterrupted from this floor. A spatial and temporal dimension of nature that Paritzki & Liani Architects are always interested in analyzing through architectural structures.
The second factor was the necessity to express the company’s identity and its strong innovative spirit. Architects chose an experiential strategy in order to create an emotional involvement, through the use and expressive capability of
“geo-cell”, one of the main products manufactured by the company.
The area dedicated to offices is completely open. Paritzki & Liani Architects built a sky-ceiling membrane, modeled with the “geo-cell” net, capable of both adapting to the acoustic needs and acting as a technical support for the structure. In this way, it became a unique, expressive object, consistent and in dialogue with the sea waves.
At the centre of the space, at a 28° angle to the facade and composed of transparent panels made of partially reflecting glass, the first meeting room creates continuity with the sea view. The main meeting room is enclosed by transparent panels, facing towards the headland of Jaffa and the promenade along the sea of Tel Aviv.
