Tymianek is a family cafe designed by mode:lina studio, born from real passion and love for children. It is a place, where families can gather, feeling comfortable. The architects’ main goal was to create a friendly and contemporary space for kids.

Following their passion for kids, Mode:lina Architekci designed a café entirely dedicated to children and their parents, with hidden niches and strong acustic panels.

The multifunctional space includes a cafe, a shop, a workshop and, certainly, a playground, in 85 square meters. The central point is the kitchen, where special meals for kids are prepared in a large central island, next to another small one, where kids can play.
The envirnoment looks familiar thanks to the wooden booths that improve acoustic conditions, and to the special upholstering on the walls, designed for the same reason. The main function of the cafe was, nevertheless, to create a pleasant space also for children’s parents.
