Tecno: Nomos

On show at the Aram Gallery of London, Nomos table by Tecno is the first product of industrial design realized by Foster + Partners in 1986.

Tecno presents the Nomos table at the Aram Gallery in London, within the exhibition “Craft + Manufacture”. This special piece of furniture is the first product of industrial design realized by Foster + Partners.

Designed in 1986, it has a structure conceived as a solid skeleton that recalls zoomorphic aesthetics. The table is an icon of industrial design that received the Compasso d’Oro ADI in 1987. Nomos is adaptable to many types of use, from personal to shared workstations. The tubular aluminum structure can be combined to different kinds of tops: tempered glass, thick laminated surfaces, stone and concrete.
