The design is based on a very restricted selection of materials: foam, pine wood, cotton fabric and steel. The room is dominated by four towers about six meter high, made of foam in subtle and warm nuances of colors while the back is entirely covered with textile. The “foam towers” are conceived not only as a scenography but also as a sound insulating element to create a sense of intimacy and warmth.
The entire fashion show has been designed based on the idea of impermanence. The foam blocks have been borrowed and then re-collected by the producer at the end of the presentation to be back in the market.
