Weaving Gio Ponti’s floors

A novelty first showcased at Maison et Objet, Lune is a collection that stems from the collaboration between the Gio Ponti archives and Amini: a collection of Ponti-inspired patterns and motifs drawn from his works and drawings that could speak to its audience through traditional Italian material and techniques.

Highly expressive lines recalling classical architecture, as well as clear and essential markings. Arena, Cara and Dote propose three elegant and essential motifs made of contrasts that hang in balance between straight and curved lines; diamond shapes that originate from circle segments; themes that recall the breadth of Gio Ponti’s graphic and creative heritage.
