Featured and merged into the 100 phases of a design phenomenon that have marked the course of Italian design since 1945 are craft processes, a maniacal attention to detail and a contemporary elegance that express a new way of living. The pieces shown are collected items, prototypes, photos and drawings of objects not currently in production but in the drawer ready to reappear. The project for this Salone is the first part of a trilogy with which Azucena wishes to pay homage to the three founders of the company. In 2015 the work of Ignazio Gardella will be presented, and in the following year that of Corrado Corradi Dell’Acqua.
