There are thirty two thousand seven hundred and sixty
eight permutations of eight sequences of five elements.
This is true regardless what the elements may be:
numbers, letters, fruits, or love stories.
“Next time, perhaps” (open till 11 June), by Vincenzo
Latronico, is a reading of love stories. It will take place at
the Loge, and will last a little more than one month. The
stories will be read by their author's recorded voice, and
are exactly thirty two thousand seven hundred and sixty
eight, the multiplications of eight original texts.
Their origin notwithstanding, every story is different from
all others, it is independent, it is as unique as a love story
can be; the resulting stories, however, are several
thousands.
A paper-based version of "Next Time, perhaps", has been
shown at Chapter Four: Word Wraps at the About Change,
Collection, Berlin, 2009.
