Euroremont in Pashkov House

Pashkov House, an excellent example of Russian Classicism built in 1784-1786, is situated in front of the Kremlin.
Previously a museum, now it houses several departments of the Russian State Library. External and internal repair of the building was performed in 2009, while most of the interior was replaced.

Comment: ‘Euroremont’ is a Russian neologism meaning a repair according to European standards (see related articles).

Visual harmony and aesthetic

Now, more than ever, interior design is a balance of form and function, a dialogue between architecture, materials and finishes that transform and make the most of the space involved.
