Louis Vuitton
At Palazzo Serbelloni, in Corso di Porta Venezia 16, the unmissable appointment with the Objets Nomades by Louis Vuitton. The starting point is the inner courtyard where a temporary architecture by Shigeru Ban sits: the Temporary Paper Structure is a must see. The exhibition continues with a succession of voluptuous designs that bear names such as Fratelli Campana, Atelier Biagetti, Raw Edges, Marcel Wander, Zanellato Bortolotto and Atelier Oï.
Pleasure & Treasure
In the Royal Hall of Milan's Central Station, Austrian design is represented by an immersive installation where visitors can meet the work of 40 manufacturers and designers. The installation, designed by architects Michael Vasku and Andreas Klug, is a "Designpool" where you literally walk across small balls made of recycled polystyrene.
COS x Mamou Mani
Scenic and immersive, the installation "Conifera" by the French architect Arthur Mamou-Mani for COS combines renewable materials and 3D printing, with a interlocking structure of over 700 modular bricks. The shape is inspired by the place that houses it, the sixteenth-century Palazzo Isimbardi in Corso Monforte 35.
The Litta Variations
Another architectural presence of the Fuorisalone is the sculpture installation by Pezo Von Ellrichshausen at Palazzo Litta, in Corso Magenta 24. Located in the courtyard of honour, the work is entirely covered with reflective material that transforms it into an invisible body between the walls of the baroque palace. "The Litta Variations" exhibition hosts, as every year, the works of over 60 international designers.
Superdesign Show 2019
Superstudio in via Tortona 27 is more explosive than ever with many installations combined with good product design. Among the names not to miss is the set up by Enorme studio, the exhibition Korea Crafts Exhibition, Lexus international and CC Tapis.
