Assemble, the sofa with an asymmetrical balance of shapes

Modular elements and backrests of different heights transform the sofa designed by destroyers/builders in a versatile solution.

Presented as a preview at the latest edition of Maison&Objet, the Assemble sofa by destroyers/builders for the Belgian brand Valerie Objects plays with modularity and with the asymmetries of its backrests to create a dynamic and visually intriguing seating system, whose configuration can be adapted to any space thanks to the articulation of armchair, loveseat, ottoman, corner seat and matching coffee table.

“This universal fit was a very important feature in my design process”, said Linde Freya Tangelder, founder of destroyers/builders. The large pebble-shaped base in brushed metal echoes the rounded shape of the seats, giving a touch of sophistication to the grey upholstery.
