For the Danese shop in Milan, Giulio Iacchetti has thought of a revisitation of the famous 16 animali by Enzo Mari, the 1957 wooden game still in production. The pieces of the puzzle have each been entrusted to a different designer who has reinterpreted and colored it, in this way were created unique pieces that at the end of the exhibition will become part of the Danese collection. The exhibition is based on Mari’s 1965 project for the brand’s spaces and exhibitions, where a series of trapezoidal cardboard elements are freely composed to create sinuous shapes.
Iacchetti involved not only designers but also architects, a stylist and an illustrator in the project. Here are the names: Arthur Arbesser, Antonio Aricò, Pierre Charpin, Michele De Lucchi, Nathalie Du Pasquier, Alessandro Gnocchi, Alessandro Guerriero, Maria Cristina Hamel, Giovanni Levanti, Franco Raggi, Maria Laura Rossiello, Elena Salmistraro, Sovrappensiero, Olimpia Zagnoli, Cino Zucchi an Giulio Iacchetti himself.
