In Wilda, a revitalized district of Poznań city, a pizza bar has recently been completed by merging the street food culture with Italian hospitality. It is called "Przyjemność" (eng. “Pleasure”) and it concentrates a kitchen, a storage room, toilet, a small bar and a zone for guests with 18 seats in a 30 sqm area. Whoever waits to take pizza, attends a symmetries trick: the inside window that overlooks the kitchen evokes the outside one that overlooks the street. The highlights are a large granite top that is divided horizontally with a steel flume for bottles of sauces and olive oil, and a ceiling of Italian terracotta colored metal grids that serve as a flower pot holder.
The warmth and craftsmanship of the terracotta are combined with cobalt blue details that pay homage to the Mediterranean - the kitchen wall edge that reminds a beach umbrella, the joints of the white tiles, the steel counter legs - and quality materials such as granite and marble, in contrast with the simpler wall coverings. On the other hand, the blue and red neon lights give a trendy and contemporary touch, especially the logo, that means the P of “Pleasure” and also the three quarters of a pizza.
