Skitsch

Renato Preti presents Skitsch, a new design brand, “high quality and never banal”.

Is design a good investment in times of recession? Yes, is the answer according to Renato Preti, who has been working in private equity for a long time through the Opera fund and is now investing in contemporary art and design. Preti, who leads a group of Italian entrepreneurs, in February announced the birth of Skitsch, a new design brand. At the Furniture Fair, Skitsch opens its first own-brand shop: thirteen shop windows right in the centre (they also sell online) that offers a wide variety of products, from furniture to accessories and even games. To get the ball rolling, a collection of fifty pieces by twenty-four designers, both established and emerging, has been conceived under the art direction of Cristina Morozzi. Meanwhile a selection of existing pieces from the most interesting Italian and international design companies complete the offering.
