Blatter & Bisazza exhibition
Brightly coloured glass mosaic amidst the raw atmosphere of the factory: an alluring contrast between space and object which forms the exhibition “Blatter & Bisazza”.
The selected pieces of the Blatter Collection show the company’s approach in which the tradition of glass mosaic is combined with avant-garde design. The factory, located in Bern, Switzerland, shows glass mosaic interpretations by Fabio Novembre, Aldo Cibic, Isao Hosoe, Alessandro Mendini and Sergio Fabio Rotella. The architects and designers have worked with furniture, sculptures, pictures and last but not least a room-in-room-installation in the form of a shell in glass mosaic which demonstrates the characteristics and flexibility of the material.
