Emanuele Quinz (Bolzano, 1973) is an art and design historian and curator. He lives and works in Paris, where he teaches at the Université Paris 8 and the École nationale supérieure des Arts décoratifs. His research explores the border zones between different artistic disciplines, from design to architecture, from music to visual arts. He has published The Invisible Circle. Environments, Systems, Devices (Mimesis, 2014; Les presses du réel 2017), Strange Design (with J.Dautrey, éditions:It, 2014), Behavioral Objects (with S. Bianchini, Sternberg Press, 2017) and Against the Object. Conversations on design (Quodlibet, 2020).
