Antoni Gaudí: una visione poliedrica – exhibition in Rome
Eight Spanish photographers illustrate the work of Antoni Gaudí (1852-1926), from the Sagrada Familia to the Casa Milà with images through which emerge the poetry and colour of the architecture-sculpture of the Catalan architect.
In the meantime, his city of birth is preparing an entire year of celebrations. 2002 has been declared the “international year of Gaudí” to mark the 150th anniversary of the birth of the master of Catalan modernism and Barcelona is planning an extensive series of exhibitions, performances and various kinds of cultural activity.
