The spaces, which offer a 360 degree view of the territory, are connected through openings and passages, generating a constant dialogue between inside and outside. The structure provides several entrances: in addition to the brick steps in front of the south facade, two walkways on the east and west sides lead directly to the covered terrace, where an area for dining and food preparation has been placed.
The addition of a double-pitched projecting volume to the main structure creates a feeling of movement outside and enlarges the interior spaces – where there is a living room, a dining room, a bar and a recreational room – which can take advantage of the double height.
The construction system is composed of wooden beams and steel elements, while concrete pillars separate the terrace from water.
Local materials such as clay, visible in the external walls grid, and basalt were used. On the facade a folding double-glass system serves as thermal insulator.
