Featuring a dense network of alleys, stairs and squares, the old town extends from the estuary of the river Tejo to the Castle and is the ideal place to get lost.

The Restaurante Gosta do Castelo is therefore designed to be an oasis for tourists lost or wandering aimlessly, where you can drink a good wine or taste some arroz de marisco.
The Portuguese architect designed a seemingly shabby and informal environment, which mixes poor elements with refined details. The project highlights the old steel and wood structure, which becomes the main element of the interior.
Floors and wooden doors have also been preserved. The interior is completed by raw wooden chairs, stools, counter and furniture. Installations are not hidden and, on the contrary, become a significant and recognisable part for the definition of the restaurant’s informal character.
