The Molto Molto Project collective was born in April 2018, with an exhibition that declared itself “Molto Molto Fuori” (far far off) from the Salone del Mobile circuit – so off that it took place in Madrid. Outside the Milanese spotlights, 14 Italian and Spanish designers and collectives exhibited experiments that investigate design as a process, without wanting to come to an object, or rather, a commercial product.

Developed on the occasion of the BCN Design Week, from 6 to 14 June in Barcelona, the “Grado Zero (°0)” exhibition is the second meeting of the collective, featuring different and new participants. This new experience revolves around the chromatic cancellation of the objects on show. The designers investigate the change in the perceptive criteria of the project once the impact of color is eliminated. According to Studio LaCube, co-curators of the exhibition: “The white colour has been used to give coherence to very heterogeneous works. The presented projects are both new and existing, adapting to the theme of the exhibition. In depriving the color value of an object we want to emphasise shadows, textures and shapes”.
