This major anthology, curated by Abacoarchitettura, presents an in-depth look at the Madridbased studio’s work carried out between 1995 and 2008. It features buildings such as the Auditorium in León, a monolithic building in white concrete, and the coloured and luminous Museo de Arte Contemporáneo De Castilla y León, which received the Mies van der Rohe award in 2007 and is described by the architects as “a structure that develops from an open system formed by a fabric of squares and diamonds, permitting the construction of a secret geography of memory”. They have also designed the Automobile Museum, a large cylinder reminiscent of ancient Castilian fortresses, to be built outside Madrid. E. S.
