At the 41st edition of Cersaie in Bologna, Ponte Giulio reaffirmed itself as a reference point in the world of accessible design, offering solutions that combine safety, aesthetics, and comfort. For years, the company from Orvieto has promoted an inclusive approach that seamlessly blends functionality and beauty, responding to the increasingly diverse needs of today’s world, exemplified by the Omnia, Hug, and Solo lines.
For safety and inclusive aesthetics
With the OMNIA, HUG, and SOLO lines, Ponte Giulio is revolutionizing bathroom design with accessible solutions that combine safety, aesthetics, and comfort to meet the needs of an evolving society.
Life Caring Design: Omnia and Hug The concept of "Life Caring Design" is one of the most significant innovations in contemporary design. This approach places the individual and their needs at the center, with products that adapt to changing physical and cognitive abilities. The challenge is to create spaces that not only facilitate mobility and daily use but also do so with high-quality aesthetics, catering to the desire for beauty as well as practicality. With the OMNIA and HUG collections, Ponte Giulio excels in meeting this demand. Designed in collaboration with designer Daniele Trebbi, these solutions strike a balance between safety, accessibility, and design.
OMNIA, with its flat-section safety handles and aesthetically impactful stools, fits into a domestic context where freedom of movement and safety are paramount. It also offers advanced technologies such as the Help system, which allows users to request assistance via integrated buttons, and Safety Air, an air purification system using photocatalysis. These innovations represent a significant leap in the sector, ensuring not only safety but also a healthier environment. The HUG collection, on the other hand, caters to those who prefer softer, rounded lines, offering elegant solutions that meet various physical needs.
Both collections prioritize self-care and the care of others, with products that stand out for their robustness and durability, thanks to the use of high-quality materials like stainless steel and rigorous resistance and biocompatibility certifications. Another distinctive feature of Ponte Giulio products is the application of BioCote® technology, which ensures continuous antibacterial protection over time. This coating, in use for over ten years, inhibits the proliferation of bacteria, mold, and fungi, ensuring optimal and long-lasting hygiene. This focus on microbiological safety is particularly relevant in public and residential settings where hygiene is a top priority.
Design and safety: a new vision for the shower space One of the highlights presented by Ponte Giulio is the SOLO Shower line, which addresses the growing need for safety, especially in a society with an aging population. The shower, notoriously one of the riskiest areas for falls, is transformed into a safe space thanks to a design that integrates the function of a safety handle directly into the stainless steel column, available in three diameters: 20, 26, and 32 mm. The SOLO Shower system was awarded an honorable mention at the Compasso d'Oro.
Ponte Giulio continues to develop innovative and high-performance solutions to effectively meet future needs, reducing the necessity for invasive modifications over time thanks to forward-thinking design. This approach reflects a vision that goes beyond the mere design of safe and functional products, embracing a concept of design that evolves with people and their needs.
