Renewing the tradition

Interior doors from Flessya's Classika collection are defined by a classic design and solid appearance, strongly characterised by deep pantographs.

Heritage Innovation is the contemporary design trend that looks to the styles of the past and brings them into the contemporary, renewing production processes or experimenting with combinations of classic and modern aesthetics. We find classical influences almost everywhere in the world of furniture: from unusually worked furniture to the choice of natural materials in upholstery, from wallpaper with plant motifs to increasingly soft and voluminous seating. Flessya shares this attitude with a collection with a classic design and a solid, solid appearance, strongly characterised by a marked pantograph pattern up to 10 mm deep: the Classika line. This is a collection with an important aesthetic, reminiscent of the solid wood doors of yesteryear. A refined product family, designed for those seeking a style reminiscent of tradition.

The collection presents a strong design, thus amplifying the stylistic presence of the door in relation to the rest of the furniture. It is a very intricate and careful workmanship, especially suited to classic environments. Surprisingly, therefore, these doors are also appropriate, in many cases, for contemporary furniture, giving that extra touch that characterises the interior. Despite its important appearance, the door does not weigh as much as one might think: it has a perimeter structure in solid toulipier, which supports a 44 cm thick honeycomb core interior. The exterior consists of a 5 mm mdf panel, which becomes 34 mm when machined. Flessya's capacity for heritage innovation also lies in the evolution of its production processes: artisan attention to detail and a passion for made-to-measure doors have been flanked over the years by cutting-edge technological and industrial investments. Today the company is among the leaders in Italy in this sector, with the capacity to satisfy thousands of orders every month, throughout Italy and Europe.
