Architects Francesco Adobati and Nisi Magnoni chose FMG ceramic surfaces for the renovation and expansion of the Piajo Relax Hotel in Nembro.
A hotel in a panoramic position on a hill overlooking the Seriana Valley (in the province of Bergamo) and its natural landscape. This is the Piajo Relax Hotel, a hospitality structure that also includes a restaurant, a spa and a location for meetings and weddings.
The renovation and extension of this exclusive resort, located precisely in Nembro, is an excellent example of the application of FMG ceramic surfaces, carefully selected by architect Francesco Adobati.
For the swimming pool area and the outdoor walkways, the choice fell on the FMG Quarzite collection in the Cenere version, characterised by a material texture which in this context generates a splendid contrast with the blue of the water and the darker colours of the flooring. The surface succeeds in perfectly replicating the soul of the material of inspiration, with its typical flaking and the presence of bright, variegated hues.
The Quarzite collection in the Cenere version, with a natural finish, was also chosen by architect Nisi Magnoni for a second intervention, which redefined the spaces and image of the restaurant. It is now bordered by large openings that connect the interiors to the splendid panoramic views and the open space designed by Sandrini Green Architecture.
Balconies and the spa feature Iris Ceramica porcelain stoneware materials. The terrace dedicated to events and weddings features FMG Walk On surfaces in a square format (75*75cm) in the Sand shade. The selection of FMG is completed by the large slabs from the Pietre Maxfine collection, in the Lavica Black version and in sizes 300*100cm and 100*100 cm. The dark-coloured surfaces have been used in bathrooms to give the rooms a touch of elegance and contemporary sophistication.
