Burning boards in the traditional tunnel method ensures a deep and lasting char that is pest, mildew and fire resistant. Over the years the char will eventually fade and reveal the warm gray hue hidden beneath the char. The patina that comes with age will breathe new life into the siding, and over time weather in a soft way.
