Electric vehicles manufacturer Electricbrands recently took over Artega, a German-based firm that was working on an electric version of the iconic BMW Isetta bubble car from the 1950s.
The company took over the project for the EV Microcar, which was supposed to be named Karo, and rebranded it as Evetta. The primary model will be the Evetta Prima, a 2.5 meters long micro-car with a front-opening door, just like the original model it takes inspiration from.
Along with the Prima, Electricbrands will also launch the Evetta Openair, a convertible version of the car equipped with an 18KWh battery, a top speed of 90km/h, and an expected range of 200km. The first edition of the Evetta Openair will be limited to 999 units and is already available to preorder through Electricbrands’ website. The expected final price will be 33,333€, with deliveries starting in mid-2023.
Evetta Openair is a micro-EV with a retro flair
The new model is a drop-top version of the upcoming Evetta microcar, an EV remake of the iconic Isetta car from the 1950s.
