Giulio Vesprini completed a new street art work for an abandoned basketball court in Monte Urano, a small town in the Marche region, in Italy. Landscape/Struttura G051 is the third painting project by the Italian street artist and graphic designer on a flat surface.
The intention is to re-evaluate the suburb and establish a new relation between the sport area and the surrounding environment. The artist covered the concrete playing field with a large horizontal painting consisting of soft shapes in the tones of red and blue, which meet with dynamism.
Commissioned by the local cultural association ZacZac, the work encourages the meeting, exchange and sport culture, offering a new place for young people to meet and connect.
