A Tesla Cyber-minivan imagined as a modern-day Brubaker Box

The car would lose some of its Cyber-edge to make it more family-friendly. We’re not so sure about the green astroturf seats, though.

Automotive designer Samir Sadikhov has tried to imagined what a Tesla minivan inspired by Cybertruck would look like. The concept mixes the truck’s peculiar and steely aesthetic with the classic design of the Brubaker Box, a minivan designed and produced by Curt Brubaker in the Seventies.
The new Box shares some of the elements of the Cybertruck, but tones down its brutal lines with softer edges and a higher sense of symmetry between the front and the rear of the vehicle. To top it off, Sadikhov added a couple of weird wooden bumpers, to counterbalance the bullet-proof steel of the car’s body.
“I just wanted to bring back the legendary design of Curt Brubaker,” says Sadikhov. “This is a personal project, no commercial purpose behind it. In terms of design my purpose was to modernize it with modern surfacing and detailing, almost treating it as a Bang & Olufsen product”.
