Sauna is more than just a domestic space: it is a key ritual for some Nordic countries such as Finland and Estonia, for which it was originally a winter residence, and only later became the hydrotherapy practice that we all know. In addition to having an ancient tradition as a purifying custom, the sauna is first of all a place to meet and socialise.

The new Starpool sauna is designed for outdoor use and is a tribute to the Nordic culture of outdoor wellness. Made entirely of wood and with copper inserts, Studio Aledolci&co has conceived a product capable of maturing and evolving in relation to nature: the fir of the Val di Fiamma takes on different colours over time, while the brushed copper oxidises depending on its use and climate.
