Among e-motorcycles aficionados, the Cake brand has made a name for itself thanks to its stylish all-electric off-road motorcycle, the Kalk OR. Now the Swedish manufacturer has widened its product lineup with the launch of the Kalk& (pronounced Kalk “and”), a new lightweight street legal e-motorbike suitable both for off-roading in the outback and daily commutes in the city. The Kalk& has been inspired by downhill and enduro mountain-bikes. Design-wise, it looks a lot like its off-road sibling Kalk OR, although it sports a slightly different gearing. Moreover, top speeds have been enhanced beyond 100Km/h to make it more comfortable to drive on highways and high-speed roads. Specs, final price and availability will be revealed at the sales launch in late March 2019, but don’t expect the Kalk& to be cheap, considering the off-road Kalk OR would already set you back a hefty 13.000€.
