Just as in smartphones, laptop display bezels have started getting thinner and thinner to increase screen real estate without sacrificing compact form factors.
The Zenbook S13, just introduced by ASUS at CES 2019, takes the concept further by featuring “the world’s slimmest display bezel” with a 97% screen-to-body ratio. To achieve such impressive feat, ASUS displaced the webcam into a small reversed notch sitting on top of the display, and hid the screen’s bottom behind the keyboard thanks to a cleverly designed hinge system. Under the hood, the Zenbook S13 features 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, up to 1TB of PCIe SSD storage and up to 16GB of RAM.
