The 5-star luxury hotel will be located within the former Tobacco Factory of Ostuni, a historic 14th-century building situated in the Plain of Monumental Olive Trees, just a short distance from the historic centre. The redevelopment project, led by the RMA studio of Roberto Murgia, aims to enhance the historical memory of the structure, preserving its original architecture to highlight its essence as a “silent witness to the cultures that have passed through it”.
This spectacular building spoke to us. For our part, we have worked tirelessly to honor both the tradition of this place and that of Ostuni in the best possible way.
The property will feature 28 rooms and suites, two restaurants under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Andrea Berton, three swimming pools – including a panoramic infinity pool – a rooftop bar, a spa, and a fitness centre, with an interior space of over 6,000 square meters that retains its original character. The 16,000-square-meter outdoor area, designed by Belgian landscape architect Erik Dhont, aspires to make the distinctive Mediterranean landscape, dotted with olive trees and shrubs, a central feature of Vista Ostuni, integrating it seamlessly with spaces dedicated to wellness and relaxation.
