At Duke of York Square in London, Yoni Alter’s “Love Continuum” appears as a 7.5-meter typographic artwork that invites interaction and play for both adults and children, as you can climb on it. The artwork—overlooking King’s Road, the famous Beatles spot in Chelsea—seems to converse with their iconic “All You Need Is Love,” celebrating love with lightness and joy.
“Love Continuum”, part of the public art trail of the Kensington + Chelsea Art Week, fits into Alter’s artistic exploration characterized by sharp silhouettes, bright tones, and Pop Art references. Initially, the sculpture seems like a kind of spiral, similar to a worm or a spring, but gradually transforms into the word “love” under the observers’ eyes.
