During Milano Design Week 2024, Florim opened the doors of its flagship store after renovating the interior. The project is the result of a collaboration between the company, which specialises in ceramics, and the architect and designer Matteo Nunziati, known for his international projects such as the penthouse of the Bosco Verticale and the Oryx Tower in Doha, Qatar.
Located in the Brera area, in the historically design-oriented district of Milan, the store has a main entrance on via Foro Buonaparte, immediately introducing visitors to the project concept: a space conceived as a creative laboratory for sharing and discussion, with large work tables and integrated maxi-screens for real-time collaboration on visitors' projects, according to their specific desires and needs.
"A great design and architecture project is the perfect fusion of two fundamental aspects: a concrete and measurable reality and an emotional reality. Essential and complementary elements that transform the space into a valuable proposal," explains Matteo Nunziati to Domus.

Within the 1000 square meters of the store, there are also a conference room, a co-working area, and a lounge bar, where visitors can observe the direct application of Florim materials integrated into furnishings and surfaces.
With this project, Florim and Nunziati transform the visit to the showroom into an experience, through a path that fosters the relationship between customers and designers and facilitates their creativity.

Visual harmony and aesthetic
Now, more than ever, interior design is a balance of form and function, a dialogue between architecture, materials and finishes that transform and make the most of the space involved.
