The space-age-inspired project stands out even in a city like Los Angeles, famous for the heterogeneity of its architecture, and is equipped with power supplies for electric cars (32 Supercharger columns), a restaurant, a rooftop terrace, and two movie screens on which famous movie clips will be shown in rotation, so as not to get bored while the machines are charging. Also because the superchargers provide up to 350 km of autonomy in just 15 minutes, so it would be impossible to watch an entire movie.
The aesthetic is reminiscent of that of America in the fifties and sixties and in particular that of the typical and timeless diners of Grease and Happy Days, with a hint of vintage futurism, reminiscent of the scenography of The Jetsons. It’s definitely gonna get attention.
