“Torre Velasca QR Code: Quick Re-Evolution Code” is the title of the digital installation created by the Italian designer Elena Salmistraro as part of the exhibition-event INTERNI Design Re-Evolution.
The hyperrealistic installation virtually tightens new connections between Milan and its iconic Tower through a cheerful play of tissues that wrap the structure of the famous architecture, symbolizing the seam between it and the urban and social fabric of the city.
“Thanks to this installation, in fact, Torre Velasca virtually recurs to its territory and becomes visible at 360 degrees, waiting to live in its new dimension at the beginning of 2024,” said Mario Abbadessa, Senior Managing Director and Country Head of Hines in Italy, which is working on the renovation of the tower.
