Developed for EDGE Technologies, the 75,000 square-meter mixed-use project contains 200 apartments, shops, seven storeys of office spaces, cultural institutes and a creative centre, as well as a three-storey underground parking with 375 parking spots. From the street level, a pedestrian path – developing along retails functions, terraces and roof gardens – leads up to the central publicly accessible valley-area spreading across the building’s podium, at 4th and 5th floor, and surrounding the central tower.
The project – with its stone terraces, bay-windows and balconies – brings also greenery to the district. The vegetation has been designed by the landscape architect Piet Oudolf, who focused on the possibility to have a year-round green appearance.
