Bottega Veneta has partnered with Flos, one of the world's most celebrated lighting brands, to reinterpret the iconic Modello 600 table lamp by Gino Sarfatti, the renowned Venetian designer whose pioneering and experimental approach to materials and new technologies revolutionized Italy's lighting design industry.
Originally designed in 1966, the year Bottega Veneta was founded in Vicenza, the special edition of the Modello 600 retains its signature flexible and malleable leather base, now featuring the Maison's signature intrecciato motifs. This new version, available in two sizes and a variety of colors — including red, black, gray, and Bottega Veneta’s iconic emerald green — bridges the history of Flos, which acquired Sarfatti’s company Arteluce in 1973, with that of the Maison, emphasizing the central role of craftsmanship innovation in the design ethos of both brands.
