This Nike box perfectly explains Jannik Sinner’s approach to winning

Can packaging design embody an entire athletic philosophy? Apparently, yes.

200 limited edition boxes. This is the object that Sinner delivers to Italian tennis talent. Not just any box, however. To understand it, let's rewind the tape. On the occasion of the Atp Finals in Turin, thirty young athletes from the city's tennis schools had the opportunity to participate in a talk with champion Jannik Sinner. The conversation delved into a central aspect of an athlete's life: inner preparation and mental strength, qualities that are cultivated as much outside as inside the court, proving decisive at the time of competition.

At the end of the event, Sinner surprised the participants with a special gift: his Nike cap, an invaluable accessory for the athlete who, after wearing it, enters fully into the dimension of the match, as he said.
.

The cap was delivered in uniquely designed packaging, consisting of three black boxes, one inside the other. Each box contained motivational phrases, such as ‘The work you do on the inside will make you unstoppable on the outside’, culminating in a final message from Sinner printed on a card: ‘From the moment I wear my match hat, only the match exists for me. I hope this gift helps you to do the same: to find the focus and energy within yourself'.

The package design emphasises the importance of all stages of preparation, including those involving mental strength, and expresses the value of their relationship, which culminates in the actual game.
