Amazon has unveiled its new Kindle range with four new models, but there is one in particular that draws the attention of reading enthusiasts and, in particular, comics and picture books.

Its name is the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition, and it is the first model unveiled by the company to sport a 7-inch wide, full-colour electronic ink display that offers high contrast, making reading pleasurable for the eyes, and keeps colours true to paper. Thanks to the anti-glare technology and the self-adjusting front light, it is also convenient for reading in bright sunlight or in the dark at night.

Ideal for flipping through travel guides, photographs, covers and graphic novels, it offers the possibility of highlighting text with different colours and the built-in 32GB memory allows thousands of books to be stored inside.

It is not afraid of water, making it the ideal companion for a day at the beach, in the pool or for those who like to relax in the bath. The rechargeable battery, via USB-C, offers up to 8 weeks of battery life.

According to the company's announcement, the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition will be available on 30 October, but can already be pre-ordered for EUR 299.99. Other models announced include the new Kindle Paperwhite available for EUR 169.99 and the Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition for EUR 199.99. 

The new generation Kindle Scribe, ideal for freehand note-taking, will be available until 4 December, although it can already be pre-ordered for €429.99, while the new Kindle, now more compact and in the new matcha green colour, is already on sale for €109.99. Finally, it is useful to know that all models offer a subscription to Kindle Unlimited for three months, opening the door to millions of digital books.
