Along the southern coast of Brazil, the city of Balneário Camboriú, which boasts the highest property prices per square meter in the country, has approved the project for what is expected to become the world's tallest residential tower, the Triumph Tower, standing at 544 meters – about 72 meters taller than the current record-holder, the Central Park Tower in New York.
However, the project details have not yet been released. It is known that the skyscraper will be located on Avenida Atlântica, on a 150,000-square-meter site in the luxurious Barra Sul neighborhood, a thin peninsula along the southern coast of the Brazilian city, already famous for its skyscrapers, including some of the tallest in South America, such as Epic Tower, One Tower, and the Yachthouse Residence Club by Pininfarina.
