Working with the theme of “floating”, the display expresses the lightness of the shoes developed by Hills Avenue with a patented technology. Contrasting ordinary store design – which is always full of shelves – Tokujin’s shoes are just floating in the air. The store is designed within 300 sqm and 700 thin white steel rods are suspended like a forest of trees. The shoes are displayed on 500 disks which have been randomly placed between the white rods. During the day the shop is filled with natural light, while in the evening showcases a warm yellow light that represents sunset.
