Ruutu special edition

A limited edition of the Ruutu vases by the Boroullec brothers, hand-blown by finnish manufacturer Iittala for Galerie Kreo, challenges the material to its limits.

Erwan and Ronan Bouroullec presented in London Ruutu vases, a collection of 14 unique vases hand-blown by Finnish manufacturer Iittala for Galerie kreo.

Their diamond shape and considerable sizes (from 35 to 62 cm) challenge the material to its limits and unveil the highest level of Iittala’s glas-blowing expertise. The fluidity and vibrant feel of the mouth-blown glass is highlighted by the use of wooden molds.

The Ruutu vases will be on show at Galerie Kreo in London until the end of October.
