Dale Hardiman and Adam Lynch designed a family of chairs, stools and side-tables combining wood and tubular steel, defined profiles and curved shapes.

Designed by Dale Hardiman and Adam Lynch for Dowel Jones, the Hurdle Family consists of the Half Hurdle Chair, Full Hurdle Chair, Hurdle Bar and Counter Stool and the Hurdle Tray Side Table.

The entire collection is characterized by the simple forms of its components – structures made of tubular steel and tops in oak wood or plywood – that seem disconnected from each other. Designed for the domestic or commercial areas, Hurdle Family consists of stackable chairs and tables, that can be used both indoors and outdoors.
