Xgone is the project founded following the success of the Restile online crowdsourcing initiative, the contest run by Mirage between 2013 and 2014, for young designers and creative professionals from all over the world, to find new creative paths for ceramics.

From the over 200 designs received, Mirage has decided to put the concept of two young architects, Lavinia Modesti and Javier Deferrari, into production: a thrilling project based on shape and colour, using Mirage porcelain stoneware as a creative material.

Xgone springs from the idea of creating a rich, multi-coloured design that eliminates the perception of the single element or the serial repetition of modules in favour of the creation of surfaces with a pattern that offers a multitude of possibilities for composition and colour applications.

This compositional process starts with elementary modules to develop infinite combinations, creating ever-different visual impacts, as well as a colour palette used to generate many mixes, creating a highly varied colour patterns and compositions.

A game of modules and colour combinations offering over 70 different compositions, from the most simple to the brightest and most complex colours: an alternative viewpoint on the use of porcelain stoneware in interior design.

Xgone can be used in both large commercial spaces and residential settings, as a floor or wall covering, to create truly unique atmospheres.
