The 2014 Plust collection marks the arrival of two new designers, Form Us With Love and Cédric Ragot Design Studio, flanking the Italian studio also responsible for the company’s art direction
The Plust Collection presented three new designs in Milan, product families that respond to the design needs of indoor and outdoor spaces with a dynamic look and developed in the company’s very own colour palette of green, white and brown.
Sweden’s Form Us With Love has designed Fura Family, a totemic table and stools that reference the way tree trunks are sawn and take their name from a tall Swedish pine-tree. The clear-cut, geometric lines are interrupted by inviting hollows that can also act as foot rests and facilitate transfers.
France’s Cédric Ragot has designed the Jetlag seating family as a progressive sequence, a system offering multiple combinations to furnish private and public spaces alike: bench seating for short breaks or armchairs for longer stops. The versatile Y-module combination allows free and easy assembly.
To end, the Bartolomeo Display by JVLT is a freestanding, internally lit accessory that goes with the line of benches designed last year. It can be used to store bottles or catering equipment, or even as an individual display.
